Today is the last day that Maybe Never (Maybe 2) will be on sale for 99 cents. Make sure you grab it before the price goes up on Amazon!
Secondly, I want to say thank you to everyone that has purchased Maybe Never (Maybe 2) or Maybe Yes (Maybe 1) in the last week or left a review on either of them! Maybe Never has been my most successful book launch to date and I couldn't have done it without all of you amazing readers! Maybe Yes made it onto the top 100 free chart on Amazon and #2 in romantic suspense free. So cool! Maybe Never made it into the top 2,500 paid store, which is awesome! Thank you!
Despite all of the successes of the launch, Maybe Never's book launch was by far the most stressful. Despite spending a lot of time planning the release, things just came up that were out of my control that impacted the release. I swore while I was compiling and formatting Maybe Never until the early hours of the morning on release day that I would never plan such a tight deadline again. I swore I would give myself plenty of time to get books out to you. I wouldn't let the pressure to get books out quickly persuade me into doing something crazy like write over 10,000 words a day to reach a deadline, edit an entire book in 2 days, or format a book in the early morning hours on the release day - all of which I did in order to get Maybe Never to you ASAP.
I swore to myself that I would never again write until my fingers and arms got so tired that they felt like they were going to fall off. Or edit until the early morning hours when my eyes were red and dry from staring at the computer screen everyday. I swore then I would never do any of those things again. Instead, I would plan better. Give myself more time to write. Push deadlines back so that my hands, eyes, and back wouldn't suffer. My anxiety at releasing a new book wouldn't overwhelm me.
But as I sit here planning what the rest of 2016 holds for my writing I know I'm not going to be able to keep that promise to myself. I know there are going to be lots of late nights, tired hands, and sore eyes. I know because I'm too excited to share my books with you. And I want to get more books out for you to read as quickly as possible. Someday I may be able to keep that promise to myself, but I'm not there yet. :) And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Anyway, on to the exciting part. I want to share with you some exciting things I have planned for the rest of 2016.
Of course as I have learned, I can plan and plan and plan, but things change. Things come up that may affect release dates. Or I may come up with a better idea that is pouring out of me and I have to write first before I write what is planned. What's important though is I have lots of awesome things planned for the rest of the year! And I will be getting you lots more fast paced romance to read! :)
Which of my new releases are you most excited about? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
